The world renowned colour provider Pantone, LLC has announced PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald, a lush green, as the Colour of the Year for 2013. Most associated with brilliant and precious gemstones this luminous hue has been the colour of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions. Colour of growth, renewal and prosperity no other colour conveys regeneration more than green.
An amalgamation of all that is prevailing around and is yet to come up leads us to the right hue of the season. The entertainment, travelling art collections, new artists and travel destinations influence our moods to the degree of choosing the colour we want to see around. Clues also stem from technology, new textures and upcoming events that have worldwide influence.
